I’m a 24-year-old New Zealand expat living in New York. After being a closet writer for most of my life, I created VICTORIA BRO to chronicle my adventures. I share monthly updates about my career, volunteer projects and fun stuff I’ve been up to.

Whenever people ask me what I do, I like to tell them I’m a serial overachiever. I’m on a mission to inspire tall poppies and believe all Kiwis should be able to fly.

I lead Business Development at Outfit, a next-generation digital marketplace that connects event producers directly with talent. My job is to be a badass in the boardroom driving a rapid US expansion.

On the side, I'm the Kiwi Expat Association's Ambassador to North America. I provide connections, insights and advice to the 2000+ New Zealanders in New York.

Before that, I was the first New Zealand woman to ever be selected as an intern in the United Nations Office for Disarmament Affairs. I spent five incredible months hanging out in the Security Council advising on issues like the North Korean nuclear crisis.

I simultaneously worked as the University of Auckland’s sole representative in NYC. I pitched and led a research project interviewing 30+ executives at organisations from BBC News to Goldman Sachs.

And back in the day, I co-directed the US Leadership Tour: a month-long educational trip across five American cities for 14 of New Zealand’s top university students. I arranged meetings with 55 speakers at 32 organisations from Google to the World Bank so we could hear their career secrets.

I’m also a former National Cheerleader of the Year, chronic illness survivor and the biggest Adam Lambert fan you’ll ever meet. I’m admitted to the Bar as a barrister and solicitor, and have degrees in Law, Politics and International Relations.

Please feel free to reach out if there's something I can do to help you. Have fun exploring my blog!
